Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions provided herein establish the contractual agreement between you and Southwold Airport Transfers. By booking a taxi and availing of our services, you unequivocally acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.
Definitions
Southwold Airport Transfers, denoted as “we” or “us,” refers to the service-providing company. The terms “you” and “your” encompass any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
Booking
2.1 It is imperative that you allocate sufficient time for your journey, especially for airport transfers with specified check-in times. We shall not be held responsible for any delays arising from your failure to allocate adequate time or if you are not prepared for collection at the designated time.
2.2 Ordering a car of suitable size for passengers and luggage is your responsibility. We do not guarantee the carriage of an excessive amount of luggage. Additionally, each child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Request for wheelchair access should be made at the time of booking.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotation is based on information provided by you. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Any changes to the itinerary may result in alterations to the provided quote.
3.2 The quote includes a 45-minute waiting period post the landing time and airport parking costs. Waiting periods beyond this will be charged at the standard waiting rate. We will make efforts to adjust our service for delays, but it is not obligatory.
3.3 Upon accepting our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review and ensure its accuracy. Failure to notify Southwold Airport Transfers of any inaccuracies absolves us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.
3.4 Payment can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
4.1 Passenger behavior during the journey is your responsibility. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact caused by passengers.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is prohibited in the car.
4.3 All children must be appropriately restrained based on height, weight, and age.
4.4 Carriage of passengers adheres to licensing and insurance limits.
Cancellations
5.1 Timely notification of cancellation is required. Charges apply if a vehicle is canceled after dispatch, based on time and distance covered by the driver.
5.2 Online booking cancellations may incur charges before vehicle dispatch.
Liability
6.1 While we strive for punctuality, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. Southwold Airport Transfers is not responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will endeavor to provide an alternative vehicle promptly.
6.4 You shall not hold Southwold Airport Transfers liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any act or omission by anyone in your party.
6.5 Liability exclusion or limitation does not apply to personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful default, or matters deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking if any vehicle or driver is endangered by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds will be issued for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 Southwold Airport Transfers may subcontract obligations. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 We reserve the right to modify terms and conditions, with changes reflected on this page. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect during booking.
8.3 Information is processed in compliance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Southwold Airport Transfers and yourself.
8.5 These terms and conditions do not confer any benefit to a third party unless agreed upon in writing.
Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date; Southwold Airport Transfers is not obligated to address claims made after this period.
